Administrative Coordinator

 

Hours required:  20 - 25 hours a week

 

Reports to:  Executive Director

 

Overview:  This position requires set office hours at the Habitat for Humanity office in Mt. Angel in addition to some flexible evening and weekend hours.  Applicants must be 18 years of age.

 

Qualifications:  Dependable, organized, efficient, detail oriented, ability to work with a small team of co-workers and manage multiple tasks, creative problem solver, self motivated, effective written and verbal communicator, proven track record of successful work history, commitment to human service.  Understand Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Quickbooks and ACT. 

 

Duties:

Full-cycle Bookkeeping – Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations.

Generate Budget Report and Treasurer’s Reports for Board Meetings.

Generate reports for Federal Grants; provide financial and statistical back-up for annual reports.

Track cash and in-kind donations, pledges, fundraising event income and costs.

Track construction expenses, and volunteer hours.

Track homeowner sweat equity hours; monthly payments, statements, and late notices; homeowner insurance and property taxes; determine annual payment increases.

Update and maintain donor, and office/construction volunteer databases.

Provide support to Executive Director.

Responsible for ordering office supplies and printed materials, assuring computer and office equipment maintenance.

General office and reception duties.

Maintain the program website.

Other duties as assigned by Executive Director.

 

Benefit package:

$12/hour
